  At YAM Architects, we believe great design begins with a sense of place, and for us, that place is Cumbria. Established in May 2020, we are an RIBA Chartered Practice rooted in the heart of this region, with our studio based in Penrith town centre.

Working across the Eden Valley, Alston Moor, the Lake District, and the Yorkshire Dales, our designs reflect a deep understanding of local landscapes, communities, and the people who live and work here.

From homes and workplaces to heritage and town centre projects, we approach every commission with creativity, care, and a commitment to sustainability. We listen, collaborate, and guide our clients through every stage, using the latest digital tools to explore ideas and bring designs to life.
