This home was purchased off-plan by a local developer, and our clients approached us to redesign the staircase to create something more bespoke and aligned with their vision. Working within an already defined space presented a unique challenge, and the installation required close coordination between the client, structural engineer, blacksmith, joiner, and an exceptionally accommodating developer at a crucial stage of the build.
The stairs are crafted from oak and supported by a steel structure. The balustrades are formed in mild steel, complemented by an oak handrail for a refined, cohesive finish. We’re delighted to say the result came together beautifully.
One of the standout features is the gentle curve we introduced at the landing. Though technically demanding, this detail significantly enhances the feeling of space and adds a graceful flow to the overall design.
