This project is located on the northern bank of the River Lowther and has an open south facing aspect. The original bungalow, while charming, didn’t fully embrace its riverside location or meet the accommodation requirements of the owners. We were appointed to reimagine the space; to make the most of the open views and create ample room for visiting family and friends.
The final design features a two-bedroom annexe, perfect for guests, alongside a new master suite with balcony views, and two additional bedrooms formed in converted loft space. We also extended and reconfigured the living space on the ground floor to create a generous open plan family living space, leading to a spacious external decked area, ideal for social gatherings.
What was once a typical dormer bungalow has now become a spacious home that brings everyone together – perfectly in tune with its riverside setting.
